David Dahl is waiting for the results of an MRI he had Friday. Well, we are still waiting for the results, I doubt he is. This is probably not a good sign because if all was good under the hood, the media would have been told about it. Maybe I am wrong, just take much caution on draft day as the best case scenario, according to Dahl himself, is that he will miss the first two weeks of the season.

Gio Gonzalez did not allow a hit in five innings Thursday, walked one batter and struck out two. 33 of 49 pitches were strikes. Eddie Butler pitched four scoreless innings yesterday, allowing one hit and striking out four without walking a single batter. His ERA is now 2.70 in 10 spring innings. He is likely to win the last spot in the Cubs rotation.
So far this spring, Gonzalez has a .67 WHIP and has held batters to a .167 average. Nats GM Mike Rizzo feels that he has a closer in house, take a listen:
