Week 7 Trade Report

Trade Now:

Jarvis Landry (CLE) Landry is not the receiver in the Browns offense, as we was when playing with the Dolphins. See if you can get him off your roster, with another owner that still is looking at previous years stats.

Taylor Gabriel (CHI) This could go either way, but I’m going to lean slightly more to offer up as a trade. We saw a glimpse again of Anthony Miller on Sunday, when he hauled in a touchdown against the Dolphins. Miller could start to be used a little more, after coming back from a shoulder dislocation which would limit Gabriel’s snaps. Than again Miller could go on IR with one more dislocation. Take the chance now, with Gabriels value so much higher and see what you can get in return.

Trade For:

Aaron Jones (GB) Jones is averaging over 5 yards a carry this season. We can only hope that McCarthy starts to use him more as we get more into the colder months. Jones proved he could run last season with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, and should only produce even better this year with Rodgers in at quarterback.

Geronimo Allison (GB) I’d see if I could take advantage that he’s been out of the lineup the last few weeks. Green Bay looks to have a high throwing offense, and he’ll be a part of it when he’s healthy.

Joe Mixon (CIN) Mixon can run and catch out of the backfield and will start when healthy. Gio is out for the next few weeks, and Mixon should take advantage. Mixon went for sixty four yards and a touchdown against the Steelers on Sunday. His value should be lower than it was before his injury, so I’d try and trade for him now. He should start to produce first round numbers in the coming weeks, and I’d rather trade for him now.

  1. I actually think it is the perfect Buy Low possibility for him. His target share is still amongst the league leaders, but his pitiful catch rate is depressing his value. His rapport with Baker will only improve and should lead to top 12 WR R.O.S.

Hi Nate! Thanks for reading and I appreciate you taking the time to reply!

Jarvis Landry’s ratings this season are lower than what they’ve been ever in his career. He’s currently rated in the mid 60’s according to PFF and was rated at almost 80 points the previous season. While looking at his snap counts since week one of the season, he achieves a count of 81-Wk1, 59-Wk2, 66-Wk3, 72-Wk4, 80-Wk5, 73-Wk6. But, with Higgins out he only was targeted nine times in week six, while David Njoku was targeted eleven times in week six.
I agree that the Browns should be using him more as the Dolphins did in his previous five years, but Miami also had fewer weapons to throw to in comparison to the Browns having more substantial weapons on offense.
That is why I think it’s a good time to trade him now. Higgins will be back in a week or two, and Njoku is finally coming into his own with Mayfield. I think the opportunity for Landry will diminish starting in week eight. You could wait and play him this week against TB, and when he scores look to trade in week eight.
