Since the MLB Trade Deadline is right around the corner, I thought we would do things a bit different around here. The hot stove tweets will be included in chatter until Monday, when you can find them by scrolling down past the Chatter section.
They are located right next to Lenny’s News Nuggets. He really takes time scouring the web for the best, most relevant articles and tweets to share with you guys. You know he reads every local newspaper every single morning right? Gets up at 4am, we usually pass each other on the stairs with me going to bed and him waking up…

AL Breakdown:
There are five American League teams within five games of each other for two wild card spots. The should be buyers since they all have a decent shot at making it to the post season.
Buyers: Indians, Astros, Red Sox, Yankees, Royals, Mariners, Rangers, Twins and Rays
Buyers or Sellers (likely sellers): Angels, Blue Jays, Orioles
Sellers: White Sox, A’s, Tigers
NL Breakdown:
It is safe to say that the Dodgers are in unless they lose 75% of their games from here on out. If the playoffs started today, there would be three teams from the National League West.
Buyers: Nationals, Cubs, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Rockies
Buyers or Sellers: Cardinals, Brewers.
Sellers: Giants, Padres, Braves, Mets, Marlins, Pirates, Reds, Phillies
The Dodgers lead that division by 13 games. The Brewers are falling apart, losing seven of their last ten games. Both the Cardinals and the Brewers are in tough spots trying to decide if they should be buyers or sellers over the next couple days. Both won last night.
National League Wild Card race
In case you didn’t notice, the damn Yankees have taken the lead in the American League east (they still have less wins than the Red Sox). It is great for Yankee Buzzards but Yankees Locker Room Videos aren’t as good when the Yanks are doing well. I have embedded the Yankees Locker Room playlist for your viewing pleasure.
