Eric Thames, Oliver Drake and Corey Knebel are meeting with brewers Monday to take the first steps in creating a new beer that will be served at Miller Park this summer

The Angels moved Andrew Bailey to the 60-day disabled list to make room for Doug Fister, who they just signed for one year. Fister is on his way to Arizona for some extended spring training action.

Aaron Hicks has been taking grounders at first base even though management claims he will only ever play there in case of an emergency. I would say the position is already in a state of emergency since Chris Carter and Greg Bird combined are batting .168 with three homers, 14 RBI and a -0.6 WAR. Hicks has only ever played outfield during 10 pro seasons but he is hitting well and their outfield is crowded.
