  • Patrick Corbin has thrown four good starts in a row, including seven shutout innings yesterday and only one earned run over the last 30 1/3 innings
  • Jharel Cotton struck out nine batters to tie his career high and allowed just one earned run in six innings
  • Blake Treinen converted his sixth consecutive save opportunity with the five-out save.
  • Jameson Taillon threw 108 pitches over just four innings
    • In nine starts since the All-Star break, Taillon is 2-3 with a 7.68 ERA and a 1.87 WHIP
  • Mike Foltynewicz allowed one run on four hits over five innings, but it took him 97 pitches. He walked three and struck out six
