Injury Updates:
- Javier Baez is expected to play today even though he is dealing with tightness in his groin
- Corey Knebel is going to be activated from the disabled list today after a spot was made available when Wade Miley injured his oblique and was sent to the DL. Knebel will likely take his spot in the ninth inning as the Brewers closer.
- Nick Franklin was sent to the disabled list with a hamstring injury on Tuesday
- David Price will not make his scheduled start tonight as he is dealing with numbness in his pitching hand. He flew back to Boston for tests. Alex Cora didn’t actually make the announcement of the pitching change, rather he brought it up as part of an answer to a general question about David Price yesterday. Watch:
- Jason Heyward will be out for seven days with a concussion
- Adeiny Hechavarria is unlikely to play today because of bruising above his left eye
- Todd Frazier went to the 10-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring, which made room for their new catcher Devin Mesoraco
