Dallas Keuchel threw 20 pitches in a bullpen session and reported feeling good after being shut down in September due to shoulder inflammation. He may have been pitching injured all season, as he admits he never felt right when he reported to spring training last season.

Glen Perkins threw his first bullpen session since undergoing shoulder surgery last season. He then felt strong enough to throw a 15-pitch session on Tuesday, and reported no issues after the fact.

Chris Tillman could miss the first part of the season, undertook a PRP injection in his shoulder in December, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com was among those to report

The Angels are waiting to see how Albert Pujols will progress in his return from foot surgery. Pujols expressed cautious optimism, but wasn’t willing to say for sure whether he’ll be ready by the start of the year

Garrett Richards elected stem cell and PRP therapy over Tommy John surgery last May, and reported feeling normal after his pen session on Friday

David Wright has not thrown a baseball since his season-ending neck surgery last June.

Pete Mackanin is going to give Jeanmar Gomez every opportunity to hold on to the closer job, and says that Gomez is deemed “our closer at this point”
