Dylan Bundy’s innings pitched by season:

This has Verducci Effect written all over it

The Marlins owe Giancarlo Stanton $285 million for the years 2018-2027

The Pirates are only willing to deal Andrew McCutchen if they receive major league-ready talent in return. Toronto is the latest reported team to show interest in McCutchen

The Royals could still trade one of Mike Moustakas, Eric Hosmer or Lorenzo Cain – all contract-year players – before the season, which explains Kansas City’s interest in Aaron Hill and Trevor Plouffe.

The As could put together an attractive package including A.J. Puk in a deal for Todd Frazier. In addition to Puk, the A’s have to send another prospect or bonafide big leaguer. Franklin Barreto makes sense but trading their top two prospects away won’t be an attractive offer to the As – especially since they don’t stand much of a chance to compete for the division in 2017 and Frazier will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Gary Sanchez saw a lower percentage of fastballs than any player other than Pedro Alvarez among players with at least 225 plate appearances

Jordan Zimmermann is throwing long toss at 180 feet, and he is pain free

The Red Sox have dealt a lot of young talent recently, but Rafael Devers still gives them a chance at a star.

Logan Forsythe is a Rays fan favorite with a short term contract, but as the leadoff batter, it would be a tremendous loss to let him go. However, up-and-coming prospect 2B/SS Willy Adames is set to be on the roster in 2018 and sharing the middle infield with Matt Duffy.

Dealing Forsythe would save Tampa $8.5M for the 2018 season.
