The Yankees might have at least partially filled a gaping hole by signing utility man Jace Peterson to a minor league contract with an invite to spring training.
He might only be Fantasy Baseball relevant in AL-Only Leagues but he plays every offensive position besides Catcher.

The Nationals are reportedly in the market for both Greg Holland and Lance Lynn. My opinion is that both need to happen if the Nationals want to be taken seriously in 2018. They are also interested in Eric Hosmer.
Maikel Franco was suspended three games in Winter Ball for Excessive Partying after photos surfaced of him and teammates at the bar drinking at 6am when they had a game that day at 4pm

The suspension was lifted by the team but Franco missed a playoff game anyway. Reason given was family reasons

Maikel Franco’s suspension was lifted by los Gigantes del Cibao, per @ESPNDeportes, but he is not in the Gigantes’ lineup tonight, according to the @MLB.com boxscore. Moises Sierra, who was suspended (and reinstated) with Franco, *is* playing. @LasMayores
