Atlanta talkie Mike Bell didn’t take kindly to Jessica Mendoza being the first woman to work an MLB playoff game on ESPN.
Considering the mentality of Gasbags preaching inside the Valley of the Stupid, Atlanta talkie Mike Bell’s Twitter rant directed at ESPN’s Jessica Mendoza is not surprising and for his stupidity he got indefinitely suspended by station management.
“There is no place for that kind of stuff on my show,” Bell read in a pre-taped statement on Wednesday. “I hope I can be a better talk show host and better person. This has been an eye-opening experience.”
Bell didn’t take kindly to Mendoza being the first woman to work an MLB playoff game on ESPN. She joined John Kruk and Dan Shulman in the booth Tuesday night working the Astros-Yankees Wild Card Game.
Mendoza won an Olympic gold medal in softball. She has been in the “Sunday Night Baseball” booth since September, replacing the suspended Curt Schilling.

Jessica Mendoza is a hit as a baseball analyst for ESPN, but has to deal with guys like Mike Bell.
Bell, who yakks on Atlanta-based 92.9 The Game, was not impressed with Mendoza’s credentials or style, which has been widely praised.
He tweeted: “yes tell us Tits McGee when you’re up there hitting the softball you see a lot of 95 mile an hour cutters?”
Bell went on to apologize and delete the tweet, but stayed on “message” tweeting: “You guys are telling me there isn’t a more qualified Baseball player ESPN can use than a softball player? Gimme a break!”
Really? A women’s softball slugger as guest analyst on MLB Wildcard Game? Once again ESPN too frigging cute for their own good.

I’ve been trending for all the wrong reasons tonight. I apologize for calling Jessica Mendoza Tits McGee.
