Mets: Wheeler must be traded

In another lost season of false hope and empty promises there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The Mets have a nice core of young hitters in Peter Alonso, Jeff McNeil, Michael Conforto, Dominic Smith and Amed Rosario along with pitchers in Jacob dhttps://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=10954eGrom, Noah Syndergaard, Steven Matz and Anthony Kay.

The move that has to be made is the trading of Zack Wheeler. In a year where now there’s only one trade deadline, more teams have to decide sooner rather than later if they’re in the race to the playoffs and weather they will be buyers.

Mets could really get a good chip back to add to their youth and their future. Not trading him and tendering him in the off season instead of getting an MLB ready prospect in a trade would be just another blemish on a constantly dysfunctional organization!

Some people want to not trade Wheeler so they can re-sign him and risk losing him for nothing? I cannot think of a more moronic thing to do and I’m now positive Brodie will do this.
