David Price threw 50 pitches in his second simulated game on Thursday. He was throwing his fastball 93 to 95 mph and also used each of his secondary pitches. He will throw another simulated game Tuesday, then management will decide if he’s ready for a minor league rehab assignment. Price could be ready to return to the Sox’ rotation in roughly a month’s time.
Tyson Ross tossed a 30-pitch bullpen session without issue, and will throw two-innings in a simulated game this weekend. Early June return possible.

Joey Gallo hit fourth Wednesday for the first time this season but struck out in his three at-bats against Charlie Morton. Rougned Odor was moved to hitting second. The Rangers are trying to shake things up a bit as the heart of the lineup has been hitting horribly. Batters in the fourth spot have hit .147 and batters in the fifth spot have hit .187.
