Matt Kemp could return to the Braves lineup on Tuesday in Miami. Braves manager Brian Snitker says that Matt Kemp’s sore right hamstring improved overnight, but they want to allow more rest before inserting him back into the lineup. Kemp will be available to pinch hit today, then the Braves get a day off and then back into the lineup Tuesday in Miami.

In 16 at bats so far this season, Kemp is batting .500, with two home runs, four RBI, and two runs.

Over two starts so far this season, Kevin Gausman has allowed six runs on 13 hits, and walked seven in 10 innings.

Javier Baez has started at second base four out of five games. Joe Maddon has gone whole seasons with no set closer, So just because Baez hasn’t been named the starter at any position doesn’t mean he won’t start everyday.
