On Monday, New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge spoke in front of cameras to TMZ Sports on the fates of Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, who he advised to go wherever they want to go and do what’s best for their families.
When asked if he would want Bryce Harper on the team, he responded that “Anytime you can add an MVP to a team, it’s going to make them better.”
Judge went so far as to say that he would consider switching positions since “he’s got more speed than me” if it would help the team land Harper. One can only speculate on how Aaron Hicks might feel about Judge’s comments.
Judge was famously warned by Major League Baseball for tampering in the spring of ‘18 when he made the comment to Manny Machado during a series in Baltimore that he would look good in pinstripes.
Aaron Judge thinks Manny Machado would look good in pinstripes… 🤔 We don’t know about that, but we remember what Machado looked like in high school: https://t.co/lCO2MK0eEg pic.twitter.com/3D7duIt9GL

It will be interesting to see if there are any repercussions from Judge’s comments.
