Week Seven Review 10-24

Vikings – Sam Bradford was  pressured and harassed by Phila all game, sacked him six times, and forced his first three turnovers this season. Bradford was 24-41, 224 yards, one touchdown, and one interception

Eagles – Carson Wentz also struggled early, tossing two interceptions. But he recovered to lead the Eagles on a couple of scoring drives, including a 5-yard TD pass to Dorial Green-Beckham in the third quarter. Wentz was 16-28, 138 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs. Wentz completed 16 of 28 passes for 138 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions during Sunday’s game against the Vikings. He added six rushing yards on five carries and lost a fumble

Jets – Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced an injured Geno Smith and led the New York Jets on three scoring drives

Ravens – Joe Flacco started for Baltimore after being questionable with a sore shoulder . He went a team-record 176 consecutive throws without an interception before Buster Skrine picked off his pass in the third quarter . Flacco (shoulder) completed 25 of 44 passes for 248 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions

Dolphins – Ryan Tannehill led the Dolphins, who  outgained Buffalo 454 yards to 267 and had a 14-minute edge in time of possession, but were hurt by 13 penalties for 116 yards. Tannehill completed 15 of 25 passes for 204 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday’s 28-25 victory over the Bills. He also gained 21 yards on six rushes. Tannehill stayed mistake-free for the second straight week while once again allowing Jay Ajayi to carry the majority of the offensive load

Chiefs – Alex Smith completed 17 of 24 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns, and added seven rushing yards on four carries

Saints – Drew Brees finished with 367 yards and three TD passes, but much of that offense came while he was trying to rally the Saints. It was actually another uneven performance away from the Superdome for the star quarterback, who was coming off a 465-yard game last week against Carolina.

Jaguars – Blake Bortles threw for 246 yards, with two interceptions and a garbage-time touchdown. The Jaguars finished with 344 yards of offense – the fewest gained against the league’s worst-ranked defense this season The Jaguars again struggled to score touchdowns in the red zone. They settled for two short field goals in three trips inside the 20-yard line against the Raiders. Bortles completed 23 of 43 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown and two picks in Sunday’s loss to Oakland. He added 33 yards on the ground on six rushes.

Lions – Matthew Stafford threw a go-ahead, 18-yard touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin with 16 seconds left. The Lions (4-3) extended their winning streak to three games. Stafford was 18 of 29 for 266 yards, one TD and no turnovers.

Redskins – Kirk Cousins scored a go-ahead TD on a 19-yard run with 1:05 left. Cousins finished 30 of 39 for 301 yards with a TD and a fumble.

Rams – Case Keenum had four interceptions

Titans – Marcus Mariota completed 22 of 37 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns, and added two carries for 14 yards Sunday against the Colts. He also lost one of two fumbles

Packers – Aaron Rodgers threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns Rodgers was 39 of 56, setting a franchise record for completions in a game in the Packers’ first contest without injured running back Eddie Lacy .

Bears – Matt Barkley was 6 of 15 for 81 yards and two interceptions.

Colts – Andrew Luck completed 27 of 29 passes for 353 yards and three touchdowns, and added five carries for 17 yards  Luck either threw or ran the ball on 44 of Indianapolis’ 63 offensive plays even though the Colts were playing from ahead for much of this contest.

Raiders – Derek Carr completed 23 of 37 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown Carr was quiet for much of the game, his 5.4 yards per attempt representing a season low despite the benefit of a 56-yard connection with Michael Crabtree. Sunday was the third time in seven games that Carr has failed to top 250 yards or throw for more than one touchdown in a game.

Bills – Tyrod Taylor completed 14 of 28 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown, and added seven carries for 35 yards and a rushing score

Vikings – Sam Bradford completed 24 of 41 pass attempts for 224 yards, one touchdown and one interception Sunday against the Eagles. He also lost a pair of fumbles

Giants – Eli Manning completed 24 of 37 passes for just 196 yards in Sunday’s 17-10 win over the Rams. Manning went without a turnover for the first time this season, but the offense as a whole was ineffective, leading to a very low 5.3 yards per attempt. He failed to throw a touchdown for the third time in 2016

Bucs – Jameis Winston threw three touchdown passes

49ers – Colin Kaepernick struggled in his second start of the season for the 49ers, going just 16 for 34 for 143 yards and turning the ball over twice after kneeling once again for the national anthem.

Patriots – Tom Brady completed 19 of 26 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns

Bengals – Andy Dalton completed 19 of 28 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns. Dalton has quietly had a nice start to the season and now owns a 8:2 TD:INT ratio in addition to a healthy average of 295 passing yards per game

Cardinals – Carson Palmer completed 29 of 49 passes for 342 yards with another eight yards on one carry. Palmer  has thrown just two touchdown passes over the past four games, after tossing five through the first two weeks of the season.

Seahawks – Russell Wilson completed 24 of 37 passes for 225 yards and lost two yards on his only carry. As the stat line suggests, Wilson’s mobility is clearly still limited due to the ankle and knee sprains he suffered in September. He hasn’t run for more than 16 yards in any game this season

Chargers – Philip Rivers completed 27 of his 44 passes for a season-high 371 yards and one touchdown, while throwing one interception and losing a fumble
