Chad Kuhl allowed six runs on 10 hits over four innings the last time he took the mound and then complained of back pain. His back was good enough to pitch through five scoreless innings yesterday. He struck out five and walked two. His ERA is now down to 5.85 on the season
Injury Updates
Cam Bedrosian will throw off a mound today for the first time since he went to the disabled list April 22
Don’t expect Hunter Pence to be activated from the disabled list tomorrow when he becomes eligible as he has not started running on the surgically repaired tendons in his right hamstring
Trevor Cahill didn’t feel great after he threw from 75 feet for the first time since he hit the disabled list. He had an MRI yesterday but dont expect him back when eligible Wednesday.
He threw out to 75 feet [on Saturday] and didn’t feel great, He’s getting looked at, trying to figure out if there’s anything structurally that we need to be concerned about.
Carter Capps was moved to the 60-day DL to make room Chase d’Arnaud, who was claimed off waivers from the Red Sox.
