Albert Pujols has more RBI since 2015 than anyone in the American League
Andrew McCutchen is hitting .394 with three homers in the last ten games. Over 1,245 games since his debut in 2009, McCutchen ranks first among National League players in hits (1,348), extra-base hits (497) and total bases (2,254). He has 183 home runs, but has yet to hit a home run with the bases loaded after 89 opportunities
Matt Adams has 10 homers and 22 RBI at Great American Ball Park.
Luis Severino made 11 starts in 2016, and was 0-8 with an 8.50 ERA. He made his eleventh start in 2017 yesterday, and is 4-2 with a 2.90 ERA.
Randall Delgado has given up three earned runs with two walks and 15 strikeouts in 15 innings
Yasmany Tomas is batting .125 with one walk and 10 strikeouts in seven games since returning from a groin injury.
Julio Teheran entered 2017 with a career ERA of 3.39. Last season it was 3.20. His ERA over the last nine starts is 7.23, as he allowed at least six runs four times. Yesterday he had a 9-2 lead in the third inning and when he left the game after the fifth, he had given up seven runs on 11 hits.
Jose Quintana is 2-7 with a 5.60 ERA and nobody can figure out what the problem is, much less fix it. Quintana and everyone around him insist that he is fine physically.
Jeff Hoffman is 3-0 with a 2.61 ERA after four starts. He will get another start on Saturday against the Cubbies at Wrigley Field, but his future as part of the rotation is up in the air after Tyler Anderson returns from the disabled list as early as June 11
Kole Calhoun is nine for his last 21, including three home runs
Odubel Herrera is hitting again, right after you probably benched him or threw him away. He has four doubles, a home run, and six RBI over the last two games
Trevor Williams threw 95 pitches over seven innings in his sixth start since replacing Jameson Taillon in the rotation. He is 2-2 with 18 strikeouts, six walks, a 4.26 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP in 31 ⅔ innings. Taillon is set to make his final rehab start on Wednesday and when he returns, one of Williams, Chad Kuhl, or Tyler Glasnow will be taken out of the Pirates rotation.
The Diamondbacks are still no good on the road, but their home and road splits look eerily similar to the Dodgers
