HOW SWEEP IT IS!!!

Last week I reported the Red Sox were on the brink of a lost season. At 6-17, and facing the first place Tampa Bay Rays, they were at risk of falling double digits behind in the standings a full week before May 1st. I said they needed to take things one game at a time and slowly claw their way out of this hole they built for themselves. I also said winning two out of three just wouldn’t be good enough.

PITCHING PITCHING PITCHING

The 2018 Boston Red Sox won 13 of their first 15 games of the season. This year’s team has won five. Last year’s team was sparking on all cylinders, and then first manager Alex Cora was pushing all the right buttons. This year’s team can’t get out of their own way.

HOMEWARD BOUND!!!

Fenway Park will never look better to the team than this Tuesday as they celebrate their home opener in front of Red Sox Nation, and the Fenway Faithful. Coming off a dismal 3-8 start which doesn’t look anything like the start of their triumphant 2018 World Series winning season, home cooking couldn’t come at a better time.
